According to the prestigious ranking by the newspaper 'El Mundo', two of the best master's degrees taught in Spain are part of the postgraduate teaching offer in the School of Agricultural, Food and Biosystems Engineering (ETSIAAB) of the Technical University of Madrid (UPM).
The Master's Degree in Animal Health and Production ranked second in the category of food and veterinary medicine, and the Master's Degree in Strategies and Technologies for Development: Cooperation in a Changing World, ranked third in the category of cooperation, are the fruits of a strong collaboration between the Technical University of Madrid and the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM).
The 'El Mundo' Ranking, a rigorous selection of 250 master's degrees from a pool of over a thousand, is a testament to the quality of these programs. This comprehensive evaluation, involving approximately eight hundred experts, teachers, students, alumni and companies, scrutinizes parameters such as the demand for the master's degree, human resources, teaching innovation, and curriculum. It also assesses student outcomes, employability, facilities, and the use of new technologies.
The Master's Degree in Animal Health and Production taught by the ETSIAAB, together with the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the UCM, aims to certify advanced and multidisciplinary training in activities, systems and techniques within the field of animal production and health. This comprehensive approach assures students of the necessary skills to face the current challenges in the food and veterinary sector.
The ETSIAAB, the itdUPM (an interdisciplinary centre of the UPM), and the Faculty of Economic and Business Sciences of the UCM are responsible for the Master's Degree in Strategies and Technologies for Development. It is conceived to train professionals capable of developing and implementing strategies and technologies for sustainable development in various communities and sectors.
This achievement underscores the ETSIAAB's commitment to academic excellence and educational innovation. These master's degrees stand out for their teaching quality, resources, and ability to train highly qualified professionals to face future challenges.
