SCAPE ROOM: A vigorous escape from linear economy via international collaboration

Scape Room 2022 is a gamification workshop organized as part of the XXII Madrid Science and Innovation Week . It is an international collaboration of four universities under the EELISA European University Alliance: İstanbul Teknik Üniversitesi (ITU) from Turkey, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) from Spain, Universitatea Politehnica din Bucureşti (UPB) from Romania, and Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna Pisa (SSSA) from Italy, in promising a fun night of collaborative learning and research for the youth, to foster awareness on the circular economy across Europe. Challenge in which teams of students will participate in different activities under the form of a gymkhana or scientific parkour, with the aim of awakening curiosity and interest around Circular Economy and social and civic skills. It is aimed at high school and first year’s university students. Three different challenges will be the means for, with the help of researchers, participants to design research projects on these topics, which will help them to become familiar with the way of working in science and technology and its relationship with the challenges of society. The night will end with the announcement of participant recognitions, and a short informative note on upcoming CIRCULAR EELISA Community opportunities. |
