MSc Degree in Agricultural Engineering


The MSc Degree in Agricultural Engineering comprises a comprehensive farm training, which includes the knowledge inherited from the degrees framed in the new structure of the university education.

It completes the core-compulsory training received today in the Agricultural Engineering Degree. All of this will allow graduates who have direct access to the MSc to count on an optimized training continuity of specialization.

This degree grants the Agricultural Engineer profession attributions. Therefore, the proposed degree has been designed considering the provisions of Order CIN (‘Ministry of Science and Innovation’) / 325/2009, of February 9, 2009 (BOE February 19, 2009), establishing the requirements for the verification of official university degrees that enable the Agricultural Engineer profession.

The teaching centre responsible for the MSc is the ‘Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería Agronómica, Alimentaria y de Biosistemas (ETSIAAB) – UPM (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid Madrid’).

The MSc Degree consists of 120 ECTS, distributed in four semesters of 30 ECTS each, which, in turn, are split into two courses. The distribution of the 120 ECTS in the different types of subjects is as follows:
