Goals

Train researchers in planning, evaluation, and management of rural and local development projects in social, economic, environmental, technologies and methods for the sustainable management of the territory and its biodiversity, through the following specific objectives:

  • Formulate, evaluate and manage a project. Treatment and analysis of economic, social and physical information required. Decision-making methods applicable in rural development processes.
  • Manage and evaluate human and natural resources and activities to develop.
  • Develop monitoring and evaluation programs that allow the prospective study of the responses of each territory.
  • Perform a critical analysis, evaluate and synthesize new and complex ideas.
  • Manage international bibliographic bases and professional and scientific writing for the dissemination of works and their results.
  • Know how to communicate with the academic and scientific community as a whole and with society.
  • Conceive, design and implement a development work with academic rigor.
