The UPM is launching the International Summer School (ISS), a five-week bilingual (English/Spanish) programme. It offers a wide range of courses focusing on technology, engineering, and architecture, with a taste of Spanish culture.
Students will take advantage of the latest trends in technology through visits to laboratories, current knowledge in architecture and engineering, and visiting museums and top attractions. They will also experience learning in multicultural settings with students worldwide. In addition, the UPM-ISS offers students a cultural programme with day trips to World Heritage cities such as Toledo, Segovia or Alcalá de Henares, guided walks around Madrid and visits to museums, such as ‘Museo del Prado’ and ‘Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía’.
These courses, mainly aimed at international undergraduate and postgraduate students, will run from June 24 to July 26, 2024, in Madrid (in one of the four UPM’s campuses: ‘Campus Ciudad Universitaria’, ‘Campus MADRID Ciudad’, ‘Campus Sur’ and ‘Montegancedo’).
The deadline for applications is April 19, 2024. There is an early bird rate for students who register before February 29, 2024, and discounts for UPM and EELISA students.
In addition, partner universities sending groups of more than 10 students will get 1 free place for every 10 students.
